What we collect, and what we don't.

Who we are

Togenag builds non-standard agricultural tools for farm and garden. This policy covers togenag.com and anything you send us through it.

What we collect

• When you order: your name, email, phone number, billing and shipping address, and what you bought. We need these to take the order, ship it, and keep the tax records we're required to keep.
• When you contact us: whatever you put in the form — typically your name, email, and the details of your beds and rows.
• When you ask to be notified about restocks: your email address, and nothing else.
• When you browse: anonymous, aggregated statistics about which pages get visited. Our analytics run on our own server rather than through an advertising network, and we do not currently run advertising trackers on this site.

Payment details

We never see or store your full card number. Payments are handled by our payment processor, which takes the card details directly and tells us only whether the payment succeeded and the last few digits. Their privacy terms govern what they do with that data.

Who we share it with

Only the people who have to see it to get your order to you: our payment processor, the shipping carrier that delivers your parcel, and the services that host this site and send our email. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not trade or rent our customer or mailing lists to anyone.

Cookies

The shop uses cookies to remember what's in your cart and to keep you logged in if you have an account. If you leave a comment on the blog, you can choose to have your name and email remembered so you don't retype them. Your browser can block or delete any of these, though the cart will stop working properly if you block them all.

Email we send you

Order confirmations and shipping updates go out automatically because you bought something. Restock and new-tool emails only go to people who asked for them, and every one carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately. We don't send a weekly newsletter.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Contact form messages are kept while they're useful for answering you and for warranty history. Mailing list entries are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — except where we're legally obliged to keep it, such as completed order records. If you have an account here you can see and edit most of it yourself. Residents of some states and countries, including California and the EU, have additional statutory rights; we apply the same process to everyone, so just ask.

Children

This is a shop selling sharpened steel tools to adults. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
