Tell us about your ground.
Most of what we're asked is some version of "will this fit my rows?" — and we would much rather answer that before you buy than after.
What to include
The more specific you are, the more useful our answer is. If you're asking about fit, these four things are usually enough for us to give you a straight yes or no:
- Your narrowest row or bed width, in inches — this is the number that decides it
- What you're growing, and how closely it's spaced
- Your soil — heavy clay, sand, rocky ground all change the answer
- Roughly how much ground you're working
A photo of a bed helps more than a paragraph describing one.

Within one business day.
If it's a fit question we'll usually answer it properly rather than quickly — expect an actual recommendation, including when that recommendation is that our tool isn't right for your ground.

Three things worth knowing before you write
Fit is adjustable, within limits
Wheel position and handle height both adjust on the telescoping slider, so one frame covers a range of bed and row spacings. Measure your narrowest row before ordering and we'll confirm it.
Broken part, not a broken tool
Everything is bolted rather than welded, so a worn blade or a bent tine comes off with a wrench. Tell us what failed and we'll usually send the part rather than ask you to ship a frame back.
Multiples and teaching plots
If you're a farm school, incubator farm, extension program or dealer looking at more than one unit, say so in your message and we'll talk about it directly.
